Important changes to the National Green Building Certification Program regarding projects scored to the NAHB Model Green Home Builidng Guidelines.
 The NAHB Model Green Building Guidelines are scheduled to sunset and the NAHB Research Center will no longer accept them for National Green Building Certification.
Rough inspections to the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines are no longer accepted. Final inspections to the Guidelines must be completed and submitted to the NAHB Research Center by September 1, 2010.
As of April 1, 2010, the Green Scoring Tool no longer allows new projects to be scored to the Guidelines. As of June 1, 2010, existing Guidelines projects to be can no longer be edited. Guidelines projects will remain available on the Green Scoring Tool until January 1, 2011.
