The spreadsheet is currently available for single-family and multifamily NEW CONSTRUCTION projects only.
The Spreadsheet was developed using Excel 2007 for PC, and was tested in Excel 2003, 2007, 2010. Users of Excel 2003 or earlier may need to download a compatibility pack from Microsoft to access the Spreadsheet.
Excel 2003 & older Users: You may be prompted for a password when you open the spreadsheet. Click "OK" to bypass the prompt and access the file.

This spreadsheet has been locked/protected to prevent inadvertent changes in areas that would affect the logic of the tool - please do not attempt to alter the format or logic of the spreadsheet. It was designed to work with verification software tools, and any alterations will cause it & the verification tools to malfunction. The NGBS Scoring for New Construction spreadsheet is a copyrighted work and the embedded code is proprietary property of the NAHB Research Center. Attempts to unprotect this document is a serious violation of copyright law.
