Resources for Verifiers

Verifiers accredited by the NAHB Research Center for National Green Building Certification are expected to independently confirm, through a process of document review and on-site inspections, that all green program requirements and points specified by a builder are in place for a candidate home.

The resources below were created to assist accredited verifiers, or those in the process of becoming accredited green home certification verifiers.

• Become a Verifier

  Learn about the eligibility prerequisites, application, training course, and other requirements to become an accredited verifier for NAHB Research Center's National Green Building Certification.

  Following the training materials, take the test, and get important resources for accredited verifiers. NOTE: The verifier application must be submitted for approval to receive the required login credentials for the Training Center.
