National Green Building Ceritifcation accredited verifiers are listed below. Verifiers are listed under each state they work in, so some verifiers are listed in multiple locations. If your state is not listed below, there are currently no local verifiers. In these cases, contact the National Green Building Hotline – (877) NAHB-GRN – for more information, and/or to suggest a potential verifier candidate in your area. Or, return to the site again soon, as verifiers are added frequently.
Once you have scored your home using the Green Scoring Tool, the next step in the home certification process is to contact one or more of the approved verifiers to enter into an agreement on fees and a scope of services. The hired verifier will discuss inspection and documentation needs, including a completed Designer Report home application.
